There are two kinds …..
Freshwater and saltwater angelfishes although entirely different in appearance are very popular and for good reason .....
This is a freshwater Koi angel ... and if you know what a Koi looks like then you'll understand that this fish is aptly named ... but there are also Black Angels, Gold Angels, Zebra lace, Silver and on and on ... all freshwater and all very appealing ..
As for saltwater angel fish .. they are large or they are small (Dwarf Angels) ... the Dwarf Angels are recommended for aquariums ... and the larger Angels are suitable only for very large tanks and do not get along well with each other or with other fishes. Popular Saltwater Dwarf angels are the Flame, Coral Beauty and Bicolor
